Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Full-time Adult Caregiver in NW Portland. This role involves providing high-quality personal and medical care to an adult female individual with disabilities. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life with respectful caregiving, supporting their daily activities, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Duties:

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs.
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living environment.
Utilize assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to ensure safe mobility and transfers.
Errands / shopping.
Transportation with client vehicle.

Skills:

Prior experience in assisted living, home health, hospice care, or long-term care environments preferred.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts is helpful.
Excellent observation skills for patient safety and condition changes.
Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills for working with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently while following established care protocols.
Basic cooking skills for meal preparation and nutritional support.
Ideally CNA with 3 years of experience but willing to accept the right person with limited experience.
